This package is not intended to be a definitive view of Normandy. Through an
extended visit, however, of a selection of representative features of the
region, students gain a clear idea of the Norman landscape, its architecture,
and the daily life in its cities and towns, including the better-known ones
along the famous Norman coastline.

The absence of recorded commentary conveys a sense of immediacy and allows
teachers to adapt the materials both on the DVDs and the CDROM in order to
work with their classes at an appropriate level.
